I created my symbol to represent my identity. I choose Maori flag because I am Maori. I choose an angle is because i am an Virgo, And the Chinese words mean family and I did family because my family always comes first. I choose the heart because I worry about my health more than anything. And I choose Jesus save us because he always saves people.
I am a learner at Glen Taylor School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am in Room 11 and my teacher is Miss Tupou.

Tongan language week
This week for Tongan Language Week, one of our tasks were too create a Fact Sheet about a famous Tongan/ New Zealand person! I chose Valarie Adams because she is really interesting and she represents New Zealand amazingly and has a wonderful personality! We had a Tongan Feed yesterday and I loved eating a piece of Tonga and seeing other smiles on peoples faces! I had so much fun learning about Tonga and the their culture! I hope you can try some Tongan traditions at home and celebrate Tongan Language Week with LOVE!

me and culture
Hi my name is Julius. I am part Maori and part Cook Island and I've grown up in New Zealand all my life and I love it here.
I was born in 2007 and I’m 12 years old.
I go to Glen Taylor School in Auckland City and in a land place called Glen Innes.
In my culture we have traditional dishes called boil up and a hangi. It was made by Maori culture. It has very tasty vegetables, stuffing and really yummy chicken.
I really love sports. My favourite sport is Rugby and sometimes I like to play NFL touch with my friends at morning tea and when it's time for lunch.
I like sports but do you like sports??
